Carnival Triumph is getting a bow-to-stern makeover in the spring of 2019 – a makeover so significant, it’ll include a ship renaming! The ship will join Carnival’s Sunshine Class and will be named Carnival Sunrise after a two-month-long refurbishment in Cadiz, Spain, starting March 1.
Check out some of the upgrades coming to the new Carnival Sunrise:
- Food glorious food! A few of passengers’ favorites are coming… Cucina del Capitano, JavaBlue Café, Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, Bonsai Express, The Chef’s Table, Cherry on Top, Guy’s Big & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse, and even a new Lido Marketplace will be new dining options on board.
- Raising the bar! From RedFrog Pub and Piano Bar 88 to a new Limelight and Liquid Lounge – the fun will not stop.
- Open-Air Fun & Relaxation: A brand new SportSquare, Waterworks, and Serenity Adult Only Retreat are also among the new ship upgrades.
- Expanded Cloud 9 Spa and More: Lastly, a Cloud 9 Spa is coming plus expanded retail spaces, and modern, spacious facilities for kids and teens!
Following a renaming ceremony, Carnival Sunrise will re-enter service with five- to seven-day voyages from Norfolk, Virginia and a summer schedule of four- to 14-day departures from New York, before moving to Fort Lauderdale in October 2019.
